Today's KC Star carries an interesting story about children deemed to be especially gifted.
Some call them “the children of the new earth” and describe them as an enlightened cadre of children, most under the age of 20, who are especially spiritually attuned. They purportedly radiate indigo auras to those who are able to see auras, and their role is to help advance human consciousness toward peace and understanding. . . .

I was participating in a Bible study of 1 John last week, and we were endeavoring to come up with modern day parallels for the kind of gnosticism that John was addressing in his epistle.  Would this be a good example?
